Privacy
What we know about you.
Short version: only what your page needs, and nothing else.
The short version
- We ask for the details that go on your page — nothing more.
- No account, no password, no mailing list, no selling of anything.
- Analytics count visits. They don't identify you and they don't use cookies.
What you send us
When you fill in the form, you type: your business name, what kind of business it is, the web address you want, a short description, the services you offer, your phone number, an email or contact, your hours, the area you serve, and anything else you put in the notes box.
There is no account and no password. The link to your form is the only key, and it is yours to pass on.
What we do with it
It goes on your page, and we use it to build, publish and fix that page. That's the whole purpose.
We send you one email when the page is live. If you write to us, we reply. Your address is not added to a mailing list, is not sold, and is not used to advertise anything back to you.
If your page is published and you later want it gone, we remove it — see your choices below.
Visits are counted
We use Overtracking to count page views on fastpages.online and on the pages we publish for businesses. It records things like how many people looked at a page, which page they came from, the country they're in, and whether they were on a phone or a computer.
It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. The counting is aggregate: we see numbers, not people.
If you run a business page with us and would rather it weren't counted, say so and we'll leave it out.
Cookies
The public pages of this site set no cookies at all. The signup form sets one small cookie that stops somebody else's website from submitting the form as you. It holds nothing about you and it disappears when your browser closes.
Server logs and IP addresses
Like every website, ours is delivered through Cloudflare and kept on a rented server, and both keep ordinary access logs — the request, the time, the page, the IP address — for security and troubleshooting.
Our own software also records an IP address for up to 24 hours, purely to slow down automated form spam. It is deleted after that and it is not used to look at anything else.
Payments
Fastpages is free, so we don't take payment details at all. If that ever changes, card details go to Stripe and never touch this site — we would see a confirmation, not a card number.
Who else touches it
Four companies, each doing one job:
- Raff Technologies — the rented server the site and its database live on, in Virginia, United States.
- Cloudflare — delivers the site and forwards mail sent to [email protected].
- Overtracking — the visit counting, held in the European Union.
- Google — sends the email when your page goes live.
We don't sell data, we don't share it for advertising, and nobody here is building a profile of you.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] and ask. Any of these, no argument and no form to fill in:
- What do you have? We'll tell you what we hold about you.
- Fix it. Wrong phone number or hours — we'll correct it.
- Delete it. We take the page down and delete your details. If you'd rather keep the page and just stop the visit counting, say that instead.
We keep the details you sent for as long as your page is up, because the page is made of them. Anything unpublished or abandoned is cleared out.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date below changes too. It isn't a document written once and forgotten. The rules of the service itself are on the terms page.
